Pigmentation Reduction

Pigmentation allows the skin to have different colors. Pigment cells called melanocytes carry these pigments in various amounts. In some conditions, these amounts of pigment is increased, causing hyperpigmentation. Conditions like this include melasma, liver spots, lentigines, lentigos, hyperpigmentation, freckles, age spots, post-inflammatory patches or from excessive sun exposure etc. It can affect people of all races and skin colors and can also increase with age.

We use a combination of specially evaluated skin therapies:

  • Q-switch laser
  • Erbium-YAG laser
  • Microneedling
  • Lamelle Luminesce cosmeceutical skin products
  • Skin peels

The Q-Switched laser (a special NdYag Laser) is the ideal choice for the treatment of pigmented lesions, such as sun-damaged skin and age spots, as well as giving you a more even and balanced skin complexion. It combines high peak power and short pulse duration resulting from the innovative Q-switched crystal, which targets deep pigmentation directly, leaving the skin untouched.

We usually aim to do several sessions in order to protect your skin and get the maximum effect to reduce hyperpigmentation. Laser treatment helps lighten the skin tone and makes it fairer, brighter and more evenly balanced.
